The War on Terror - Bombs or Banks?

How do you win a war against terrorism?  Are there lessons to be learned from the war on drugs?  Do we fight it by denying terrorist organizations access to their money, or by using military force to break apart groups and camps?  Or is it a futile effort, since where there is a will, there is a way for terrorism to continue?

March 27, 2002 - I think we have seen it demonstrated that these terrorists have multiple streams of income. They have made it abundantly clear that negotiating is a waste of time and energy. Nothing short of total annihilation of the USA and Israel will fulfill their ultimate goal. We must become cognizant of that fact and realize we are in a fight for our very lives. The only recourse is to respond with sufficient military force to keep the organized terrorist cells recoiling until such time as the surviving members are convinced it is time for a career change. - W.S.
